Last night we told you about the scarcity of anti retroviral medications for persons living with HIV in Belize. The Ministry of Health says supplies are back ordered and won’t be here for months.  

Well, the PSU says that explanation won’t do.  An angry press release issued today calls the shortage unacceptable, discriminatory and criminal.  

The release refers also to unchecked conflicts of interest with senior officer sin the Ministry and calls the Minister and the Ministry incompetent.
