Alleged Meatpie Delivery Man Turned Robber Gets Bail

A 23 year old former Dario's Meat Pie delivery man, Joseph Richards, who allegedly led a home invasion to hold up his former employer was today released on Supreme Court bail.

He appeared today with his attorney Ronell Gonzalez before Justice Antonette Moore.

She agreed to release him on a bail of $8,000 with several conditions. One is that he has to make his court appearances, two is that he is to report to Queen Street Police Station every Friday, and, third, he is not to interfere with any of the prosecution witnesses.

On Saturday evening - a man police say is Richards along with another man who remains at large, assaulted two women during the burglary on Hyde's lane. Richards was later arrested and made to lead police back to the bakery where they recovered $34,103 from behind a counter where he had allegedly hidden it.
