A San Ignacio man was threatened in what police are calling an aggravated assault. The report is that a 21 year old BDF soldier was playing a game on his wife's phone, when a text message from a man came in. Reports say he played along with the text exchange, pretending to be her, and culminated in a text message from the man saying, "come out I want to see you." He did just that, and walked outside to stand on the side of the road where he saw a man he knew. The man then fired a shot into the air before pointing the gun at the soldier. According to the soldier, he feared for his life. Police are looking for the other man to charge him.
