2,260 residents in 179 households in the village of Sarawee, Stann Creek will have connections to running water upon completion of the the village's water expansion project. 

The project is underway and it will entail the installation of 8,500 feet of transmission line and almost 25,000 feet of distribution lines. It is estimated to cost $1.2 million and will be jointly funded by BWSL and and the Government of Belize through SIF.  

The Sarawee water expansion project is scheduled to be completed in May of 2020.
