And, while both Vega and Saldivar were non committal, there was no need for hedging about two other Saldivar supporters: Shyne and Denise "Sista B" Barrow.
That's Party Leader Dean Barrow's younger sister and his eldest son, and both were prominently in support of Saldivar - we asked Saldivar what conclusions we can draw from that:

"You had Shyne Barrow doing the opening address and you had Sista B here as well. They were obviously not at Faber's event. Is this indicative of the fact that the prime minister's son and his sister are here. Can we then conclude that the prime minister supports...."
Hon. John Saldivar
"I think you have asked that question already and he has decided who he is voting for, but that he will not make it public. So I will not attempt to do so today."
Reporter
"With this showing would you say that Faber is done in terms of the leadership bid?"
Hon. John Saldivar
"Minister Faber is a formidable opponent, we certainly cannot take our eyes off him. He brings great good qualities to this party, is equally deserving as myself to be the leader of this party and so it will be left up to the delegates."
