In 2017, Aspinal Welch was shot and the injury left him a paraplegic. Now, the 29 year old Welch is facing a charge for an armed robbery in 20912, in which he was also shot. But, because he's been getting to court late, he was remanded in September by the order of Justice Marilyn Williams.
Now, he's been on remand for over a month - and his health has taken a downturn. Today his wife made a tearful plea for his release:..
Welch is still pending trial for the 2012 robbery.
His brother Inmar was killed a few weeks ago.
