Man Critical After Surviving Multiple Shots In City
posted (November 5, 2019)
A Belize City man is clinging to life after he was shot yesterday evening in the St. Martin's area. It happened at 6:15 on Lavender Street where residents heard at least 10 shots fired. The target was 27 year old Eric Tillett who was hauled out of the yard with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, but still alive.

He was put into the back of a pickup - which a number of neighborhood men crowded into - and then rushed to the KHMH where he is critical tonight.

Police say he was on the street side in front of his residence when a man walked up and opened fire. He ran away, and jumped the zinc fence into his yard - but still got shot multiple times.

The rivalry is reportedly the result of what bis being called an old beef about another killing.
