And we take a break from all the politics now.

Tonight, Belize City police are looking for 3 men who they believe can help them get to the bottom of an armed robbery at the Dream Like City Bar. 

It happened sometime after 9:00 last night.  4 men entered the bar, on the Philip Goldson Highway in Belize City. They pretended to be customers, but changed their act when then robbed everyone at gunpoint and fled.

At a press briefing today, and the head of the Criminal Investigations Branch in Belize City shared a few details about the case with us:

"Last night, at about 9:30, 4 male persons entered Dream Like City Bar, held up the owner and some patrons at gunpoint. And stolen from them were a small amount of cash, 2 cellular phones, and other personal documents. So far, police are looking for 3 male persons who we believe can assist in the investigation."

"Have the police been given any details as to how these persons carried out the hold-up?"

Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"Well, what we know is that there were several persons inside of the bar, and these persons went in as regular customers. Thereafter, they held them a gunpoint."

Reporter
"The establishment doesn't have a security guard at the door?"

Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"They do have one."

Reporter
"Any security cameras inside or outside that may have captured the incident?"

Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"They have cameras, and that is what police are looking at, at this moment."

We are told that the robbers got away with just over $800 in cash, assorted liquors, 3 packs of cigarettes, a silver chain, a silver ring, an expensive gold chain, 2 cellular phones, and the personal documents of one of the patrons. They fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
