posted (November 11, 2019)
No one was killed in a collision on the George Price Highway last night. It happened between miles 38 and 39 when an SUV and a pickup collided. Police told us more:

ACP Joseph Myvette
"Last night shortly after 7:00pm Roaring Creek police were called to the scene of a road traffic accident between miles 38 and 39 on the George Price Highway whereupon arrival they observed a black Xterra SUV type vehicle with damage to its front portion and also in the middle of the highway they observed a gray Toyota Hilux with damage to the left side of the vehicle. What we know so far is that the Xterra was westbound and was driven by one Emily Aldana who reported to police that whilst reaching the area of the scene of the accident she observed a vehicle coming from the opposite direction which swerved into her lane and as a result she applied brakes but was unable to avoid the impact. The other driver was learnt to be one Glenford Mcfazden who was traveling in the opposite direction. Both drivers received varying degrees of injuries. Mr Mcfazden is in a stable condition. We believe that the other victim has since been treated and released from the hospital."
