The girls of St Catherine Academy won their 12th national volleyball championship this weekend in Dangriga. The event was held at the Chiste Garcia Sports Complex and in the championship game on Saturday, the SCA girls bested over the Western Zone champions, the Belmopan Comprehensive School 3 - 0 in the championship final.
And in the males, The St. John's College Wildcats repeated as national volleyball champions. They had to go to four sets to prevail 3-1 over the Northern Zone champions, the Muffles College Bobcats, in the championship final Saturday evening.
