The Fred Westby Park is an odd little slice of land between Albert and Albert Street west in Belize City.
But, in a city starved for green recreational areas this little strip is a breath of fresh air in the congested downtown area.
And - thanks to two corporate sponsors in the area - the park has gotten a major upgrade. Hyde Shipping and Diversified Life Solutions partnered with the City Council and we were at this morning's opening where we saw a curious mix of political personalities:
