Why Did the GSU Shoot Dean Cain?
posted (November 13, 2019)
And while the police want to blanket the city with surveillance, their ambitions in the village of Burrell Boom are not that great. But they do want to keep the village safe and tranquil, which seems to be in jeopardy after a recent murder and retaliatory shooting - supposedly over the weed trade.

So, on Friday, the police stormed unto the property of a well-known figure who lives in the village, shot his pitbull and shot the caretaker who lives in the back of the yard. Today we asked the commissioner if the shooting of Dean Cain was justified:

Reporter
"Can you speak about the injuries cause to Dean Cain? We are told he was shot with a non-lethal weapon by the GSU as they were searching or trying to search the name of a very high profile figure and they were unable to search and they shot this gentleman and the person's dog. Are you able to comment on this?"

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"As you would know the people of Burrell Boom Village has been complaining about activities that had been occurring in the village. Recently we saw a murder and a subsequent shooting of a house that resulted in another person being injured. Now that is a small rural community and if it is that we are going to sit back and allow criminality to take over a small community then something is wrong with us. I directed the GSU to go into Burrell Boom Village to conduct operations and I know that yes they went to search a yard and from what I was briefed, I was not there, but from what I was briefed a dog was in the yard that was let loose at the police and the police shot the dog. There was a fellow who was either on the premises or in the yard and when the police approach to search him he took off and the police used the non-lethal ammunition and they shot him. It is nothing to cause him any kind of fatal injury. It is a non-lethal force that police use to be able to get control of a situation. With that they were able to detain the person. He was wanted for questioning in respect to the murder. I believe CIB dealt with him. We could not get sufficient evidence against him, so he was subsequently released, but the matter where the murder is concerned and I will say without any apology that we are going to continue to go hard at those persons who we believe are trying to turn the peaceful communities into what they want it to be."

Cain told the Amandala, he put his hands up inside his house and that's when police shot him. The GSU agreed to take care of his medical bills at the KHMH.
