Security Guard Free Of Murder Charge
posted (November 15, 2019)
Tonight, a security guard turned alleged murderer - who was on remand for 5 years is at home after a "nolle pros" was entered in court today.

In April of 2015, Darion Hamilton was charged with the murder of 41-year-old Wilmer Cisneros. The killing arose out of a petty dispute over a ten dollar entrance fee to the Blue Hole Bar.

Two security guards approached Cisneros about not paying the cover charge; they got into a quarrel and a fight broke which is when one of the guards pulled a knife and fatally stabbed Cisneros to the chest and abdomen.

The case came up before Justice Colin Williams in the Supreme Court today where Crown Counsel, Riis Cattouse entered a nolle pros motion. No reason was given why the case could not proceed in a trial.

On June 1, 2016, Hamilton's case was committed to the Supreme Court for trial at the end of a Preliminary Inquiry. Darion Hamilton was represented by Attorney, Simeon Sampson.
