Former City Admin Asks For 200K Too Halt Crowfoot Seizure
posted (November 15, 2019)
This week we've been reporting on former City Administrator Candice Miller's crowfooting of the city council's assets to collect on a 400 thousand dollar judgement debt ordered by the Supreme Court.

Well, tonight, thanks to an ugly smear campaign launched by a city councillor on Facebook - we know some of the behind the scenes negations as the city tries to get out from under the crow's foot.

A "no prejudice" letter posted on that same facebook page shows Miller's attorney Magali Perdomo replying to the Council's attorney Anthony Sylvester. The letter states that Sylvester asked for a good faith stay of execution until an appeal is heard. Perdomo says Miller is agreeable if the council agrees to pay her 200 thousand dollars in six installments over the next two and a half months starting with an initial payment of 50 thousand dollars next week .

Seems that compromise could not be reached and reports say the seizure of the council's heavy equipment assets has commenced.
