Earlier this month we told you about the UNHCR media training on refugee reporting. Now the Agency is sensitizing another valuable sector of the public service, The DPP's Crown Councils, to the plight of the refugees with a workshop on on Refugee Law and Policy. We caught up with UNHCR Senior Consultant Janice Marshall on her lunch break and hit her with some difficult questions that might concern the Belizean taxpayer. We asked her about the provision of rights and basic help GOB is bound by international law to provide to refugees and asylum seekers.
