A man was shot while sitting in his delivery truck. It happened on Saturday afternoon when 37 year old Issa Nunez accompanied by his son were parked on in front of Bernice York school on St. Thomas Street.
At 2:45 they were approached by two men who demanded money. The man who was standing on the passenger side fired a shot into the vehicle which hit Nunez in the thigh. Nunez then sped off to the hospital. Senior Superintendent Romero told us more:

"Police visited the KHMH where they saw Issa Nunez with a gunshot injury to the right thigh investigation revealed that he was in a truck on St. Thomas Street when he was approached by two male persons who demanded money. There was some delay and at some point on of the male persons fired a shot at the truck which caught the victim on the leg. He drove himself to the KHMH where he received treatment. Again investigation is ongoing at this time into this matter and nobody has been charged for this incident."
