The incident happened between July 1st, and July 31st, of 2016 in Ladyville. The victim, who only 11 at the time, testified that Leslie had intercourse with her sometime in that month. After deliberating for almost 3 hours, the jury of 5 women and 4 men unanimously found him guilty.

Justice Williams has deferred sentencing until November 26th. That's when the attorney representing Leslie will make a mitigation plea on his behalf. The prosecution was represented in this case by Crown Counsel Portia Ferguson.

Leslie is currently serving jail time for a conviction of sexual assault on a female child, who was only 5 years old at the time that the crime was committed.
