65 year old Marciano Correa, charged for the April 2013 murder of 43 year old Sisto Victorio Osorio, was freed of the charge today when a nolle pros was entered before of Justice Herbert Lord.

Crown Counsel Urbina said it was due to insufficient evidence so, after 6 years on remand, Correa was free to go.  He was represented by attorney Dickie Bradley.

Osorio, a resident of Libertad, was struck on his head with a blunt instrument and he died as a result of the injury he sustained. His body was found lying face down on the pavement in the village. Osorio was reportedly killed because of a family dispute.
