In 2010, it was big news when  San Ignacio police found 20 kilos, or 46 pounds of cocaine concealed under a vehicle driven by Corozal resident Carlos Gibson.  It was coming over from Guatemala.  

Well, almost a decade later, reports say Gibson has been fined for the drugs.  

He reportedly pleaded guilty at Belmopan Supreme Court and was fined $25,000 to be paid by 30th June of next year or in default face 2 yrs imprisonment.
