Tonight, 28-year-old Rivree Dawn Flores, and 18-year-old Tavor Santos are facing drug trafficking charges. That's after police conducted a search of their home on St. Jude Street in Belize City, and allegedly found a large amount of marijuana stashed in their yard.
The cops say that at around 8:30 on Friday night, they found 352 grams of suspected marijuana in one part of the yard. They searched some more and found 7 other parcels of suspected weed amounting to 15 pounds. And in yet another part of the yard, the cops one 9mm magazine.
Both Flores and Santos were at home at the time of the discovery, and so police have charged them with 2 counts of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply, and keeping a firearm without a gun license.
