We also asked the Coast Guard Commandant to discuss the discovery of a boat in the same Mapp Caye area that appeared be to one of the vessels which was stolen from the lobster fisherman, Evan Neal.
As we told you, back in January of year, Neal has and 2 of his workers disappeared while they were on a fishing trip on the same caye. The Commandant told us that the discovery of this vessel has caused the Coast Guard to renew their efforts to try and locate Neal:

"The boat for Mr. Evan Neal was found, I believe yesterday, are you guys continuing that search along those lines in that area, maybe?"
Capt. Elton Bennett
"That case is still open, it was suspended and suspended means that we wait for any additional information to open back the case or to continue the case and in this case yesterday we were able to recover that vessel. And it's in the same area, the same Mapp Caye and Drowned Caye area, so we are looking for Mr. Evan as well."
