Police have charged Wendi Dardano's boyfriend, 28 year old Leroy Lorenzo with her murder. As we reported, Lorenzo allegedly stabbed American nurse Wendi Dardano to death and then stuffed her inside a garbage bin in front of her Hopkins home. As you saw in the story, Dardano's friend said she knew of abuse Dardano suffered in the relationship but that Dardano did not want to speak out or make a police report.
