Last night we told you that 28-year-old Gerald Lamb had been shot four times, three times to the head and once to the abdomen. His family believes that he was targeted due to a case of mistaken identity.
Tonight we can report that Gerald Lamb remains on life support and is breathing only with the help of a machine. Lamb is currently in a coma and remains very critical.
As we told you last night, the suspects are in police custody. After escaping from the police, abandoning their vehicle, and spending a night hiding in the bushes, Lamb's assailants hitched a ride on a dump truck on the Burrell Boom road yesterday morning.
The driver of that truck became suspicious at the state of the pair, who looked very much as if they'd spent a night in a swamp.
He called the police who advised him to deliver them to Hattieville Station.
