32 year old fisherman from Youth for the Future Drive, Shane Jones has been charged for the murder of 49 year old Edwin Usher.
Jones appeared today before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford and was remanded until January 31st.
On Saturday November 23rd Jones allegedly beat Usher badly in front Li Zhen restaurant on Vernon street. After the beat down, Usher was admitted to the hospital where he died 7 days later.
The two men were form the same neighborhood, and Shane Jones is reported to have known Usher.
Jones was in the news back in April when he was shot in the stomach while in his yard.
