As we told you last week, the Belize Progressive Party the Belize Peace and a coalition of Belizean nationalists are suing the government for making ti so that the 31 electoral divisions are not equal in size, going against the requirements of the Belize Constitution.
The case is at the very preliminary stage before the Chief Justice Kenneth Benjamin, where attorney for the challengers Arthur Saldivar ran into a little bit of a headwind.
He said the formalities are being refined but the case remains crystal clear:
