We've been reporting on Monday afternoon's brazen home invasion on Samuel Haynes Street in the Belama Phase 1 area of Belize City. It was the second home on this street in 2 weeks.
Well, tonight, police are investigating another aggravated burglary in a residential northside neighborhood; this time, criminals targeted a family living in the King's Park area.
At around 4:30 this morning, Kishore Lumar Lalwani woke up to find 3 armed, masked men in his bedroom. They rob him of several thousand dollars in cash, and they escaped by taking the keys for his grey 2015 Toyota RAV4 SUV. There is a thousand dollar reward being offered tonight for information which leads to the recovery of this SUV.
The burglars managed to gain access to the house by prying open the locks on the backdoor.
