33 year old Phillip Roberts also known as Jonathan had been renting the house to someone else and was just there on Saturday evening with his girlfriend enjoying a meal. That is when two gunmen pounced on him. Here is more from police.

"On Saturday, the 14th day of December 2019, around 8:03 p.m., police responded to a shooting incident in the Farmer's Site area of Hattieville. Upon their arrival, they found Phillip Roberts, 33 years-old, with gunshot injuries. He was immediately taken to the KHMH for treatment, and he succumbed to his injuries around 9:30 p.m. on the said date, Saturday. Information revealed that he was at a house in that area, and he stepped out to throw out some food. Several gunshots were heard, and he was found lying down with the gunshot injuries."

"Sir, was someone waiting for him outside his house like an ambush?"

"Yes, that is the information that we have. As soon as he stepped out, he was attacked and shot."

"Have police received any information that maybe he had enemies?"

"No, investigators are out there at this time trying to ascertain what transported and what connections he had to anyone."

"Any background on the victim?"

Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
"I know he had been charged for some crimes in the past."

"This is the second murder Hattieville in Farmers Site area in 2 weeks. Is there some sort of happening in that area?"

"Yes, we have information that there may be some rivalries there. So, we will address those issues as time goes by. We will have investigators continue with their interview, and whatever other measures we need to take."
