Accused Cop Runs From Court Cameras
posted (December 17, 2019)
He was on the run from the law and today he showed that he can also dodge the cameras as he sprinted from the courtroom to the clerk's office.

Last week we told you that 22 year old Police Constable Nadir Mendoza was wanted for the theft of three firearms from the Precinct Three formation in Belize City.

Well today he was arraigned in Belize City's Magistrate Court on a single charge of theft.

And he was released on bail of $5,000. He must report to the San Ignacio Police Station twice weekly until his case is concluded and was also ordered not to interfere with any prosecution witnesses connected to the case against him

As we told you Mendoza signed three firearms out over a period of time but failed to sign them back in. Thereafter he stopped showing up for work.

Last week Commissioner Of Police Chester Williams told us about a previous incident where Mendoza was criminally charged but the complainant withdrew the matter. With that he was allowed to return to active duty.
