Serving Soldiers, Lessons in Humility

Christmas is only 7 days away, and, for the soldiers at Price Barracks, that ham and turkey dinner came early today. They threw their annual Christmas luncheon for approximately 1,000 soldiers at their price barracks headquarters in Ladyville.

Now, that's a lot of hungry mouths to feed, but they welcome it. After all, it's an annual tradition where the officers serve the recruits and junior soldiers - an exercise in humility and good cheer. Here's what the BDF Commander had to say about the importance of continuing this tradition:

Luncheons were held at several other BDF camps around the country several days ago, and before the end of the year, the Commander will be presiding over a few more.
