Cops Saved Dorian From An almost Certain Death

23-year-old Dorian August is lucky to be alive tonight after the cops rescued him from an abduction, 5 against one beatdown, and certain death. It happened behind Tapir & Bar Deck Hotel off the George Price Highway. The beatdown was in process when police came upon the scene and it is alleged that the five had prepared a hole for August to be buried in. Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero told us more:

"On Saturday the 21st day of December 2019 around 10:00 pm police responded to a report that a male person was being beaten at around mile 3 and a half on the George Price highway. Police responded immediately and they found fie male persons beating one Dorian August 23 years and the persons were immediately detained and Dorian August was taken to the KHMH for treatment where he is in a stable condition. These five persons remain in custody and later on, today charges will be levied upon them."

"The victim will provide his statement and thereafter the charges will be determined based on the statement that is made."

All five of Augst's assailants including 20-year-old Delroy Flowers, 31-year-old Bernard Lynch, 30-year-old Clive Stanford, 29-year-old Oliver Solis, and a 16-year-old minor were arraigned today on an attempted murder charge. All of them were denied bail and they have been remanded to the Belize Central Prison until February 26.
