Christmas is anything but merry for the family of Manuel Ye tonight as they continue to mourn the father and husband lost last week to an alleged hit and run. 

And today, the man who allegedly ran him over, Ernesto Urbina was arraigned in Benque Viejo Magistrate’s Court on 5 charges including two counts of grievous harm, manslaughter, driving without due care and attention, failure to provide a specimen, and failure to render aid.  No plea was taken because it is an indictable offence.  

Urbina was released on $10,000.00 bail. He returns to court in February.
