25,000 Belizean children are wearing brand new Crocs sandals courtesy UNICEF, Crocs, and Indian born American actress Priyanka Chopra. The actress took to Twitter to announce the good news.
And Crocs vice president Heidi Cooley says that basic necessities like shoes, "will play a role in getting these kids to school."
25,000 pairs of Crocs were distributed to Belizean students in November by members of UNICEF USA and Crocs. A total of 50,000 pairs will ultimately be donated over the next year.
