It's a superstition and a cultural practice in Belize: The numbers to buy in the Sunday Jackpot before the new year are: the year to come, and the year that's ending, and maybe even those numbers in reverse. Well, Yesterday that superstition paid off, like never before, and buyers came up bigtime.

Wallace says that the techies at Brad's are still in the tabulating stage because of the number of persons who may have purchased and won, and have not yet been able to ascertain the number of individual winners.
