Another Police Brutality Allegation
posted (January 6, 2020)
But, tonight, Compol Williams is getting no love on Caesar Ridge Road. That's where 22-year-old Giovanni Lambey was allegedly beaten by police today. He is reportedly in the hospital tonight after he was detained in what his family is calling an incident of police brutality. We spoke to Lambey's Uncle, Windell Carcamo, a bed-ridden diabetic who told us that he could only listen to his nephew's screams as police who had entered the yard under the guise of searching for ammunition pulled Lambey from the outhouse to beat him.

Windell Carcamo, Uncle of Giovanni Lambey
"About after 9-10, I see the police come into my yard and say that they are looking for Lambey, at the same time my little nephew went to the bathroom. I won't tell you no lie - I hear about police brutality and today I witnessed it for myself. I am sick right now with pressure and sugar and I can't move my feet. Ma'am I am telling the God's truth, God could strike me down, I can't help him and all I am saying here is to stop chancing the little boy and look for what you are looking for. Brutality from police is not right. I watch them from my verandah - they beat up my nephew - bat him up - some shooting back of Raccoon Extension. So I ask who the little boy went to shoot. They don't want to say. They only say that they are looking for guns and ammunition in my house. I am not taking up for nobody at all, the 7th November they killed my son on Raccoon Extension and up to now the police can't give me any results. Today, 5th I witnessed police brutality for myself. Poor little nephew went to the back at the bathroom, I can't see back there. I hear him yelling 'uncle they are chancing me, they are beating me for nothing.'"

"You see these noodles right here my friend, I am showing you all and the whole world - these 2 noodles here - I watch my nephew get up this morning and wash his clothes and I told him to go and buy 2 noodles for me. He just came off the bike with the noodles. This is what poor people who lives in the ghetto are eating - noodles. I am not afraid. I am afraid to come on TV, but I am trembling here and I am telling Chester - you said you have good police officers, it's a lie."

"Like what I tell you they come asking for Lambey and the little boy was coming out from the bathroom, they found him around the house and start grab him and beat him up. The whole neighborhood and my sisters see police brutality."

Giovanni Lambey is the cousin of Alrick Carcamo. Carcamo was ruthlessly gunned down and shot to the abdomen by a masked figure on November 7th.
