Lambey Locked Up for Neighborhood Dispute
posted (January 9, 2020)

In our last newscast, you heard that 22-year-old Giovanni Lambey plead guilty to aggravated assault with a firearm in the Man O War street attempted shooting of a minor.

You’ll remember that Lambey’s uncle went on the record earlier this week claming that his nephew had been wrongfully accused and brutalized by the cops. Yesterday the Compol chided the media for giving those claims any airtime.

And today Superintendent Alejandro Cowo told us what led the police to detain Lambey.

Alejandro Cowo - Supt. OC, CIB
"Based on the investigation that the police conducted and interviews that they did it lead to him to be the primary suspect for that shooting. We have established that there is an ongoing dispute in that neighborhood between some of the people that live in that vicinity and we believe that is the motive there."

Cherisse Halsall
"Has the weapon that he used been found at the scene?"

Alejandro Cowo
"No."

And yesterday Giovanni Lambey was fined $2000 dollars.
