Timroy's Alleged Killer Charged

In December we told you about the merciless execution of Timroy Neal who was shot at point-blank range in front of a Chinese store in Roaring Creek Village.

And tonight we can report that 26-year old David Cruz has been arrested and charged for the crime of murder. 

Police say that while he alluded capture for almost three weeks he has remained the main suspect in the case.

"Reference the murder of Timroy Neal which occurred on the 12th day of December 2019 at Roaring Creek Village. Police have since arrested and charged David Cruz, Belizean labourer, for the crime of murder."

"Was Mr Cruz initially the suspect sought when this murder took place?"

"Yes, we were looking for him from then. He handed himself in at the Belmopan police station. We have not established a clear motive."

Cruz has been remanded to prison.
