A family of four was saved by a fearless adventure guide after their SUV plunged off a bridge and into a stream. It happened on Saturday night in Saint Margaret's village - at mile 31 on the Hummingbird Highway.
The lady tour guide jumped into the water along with a man form the village to pull the family out. But while they were doing that, others were busy robbing the vehicle of its tires. Police did not comment on the incident today calling it minor.
And indeed the injuries sustained by the family were not serious. Reports say only the father, who was driving the vehicle was taken to the Western Regional Hospital after complaining of chest pains.
The road is under very heavy construction and in the rain, it is a hazard.
