AG Will Wait And See On Audit Reports
posted (January 20, 2020)
And while the Lev Dermen case is one matter, the other facing the UDP are two two reports from the Auditor General covering significant acts of corruption and crookedness at the National Sports Council and Julian Cho Technical High School.

The Commissioner of Police says he is already seized of the reports and is setting up a team of investigators. But, will the Attorney General, as the government's Chief Legal Officer give any input? That's what we asked today:

Hon. Michael Peyrefitte
"I will say do what the prime minister says send it to the police and see what they come up with. No matter what I would say at this point it would take as prejudicing what I think the police need to look at before they make their decision, so let them decide if they see something. Let the chips fall where they may."
