30 Police Officers have completed a 3-week Crimes Investigation Branch training course at the police training academy today. The purpose of the course was to make the cops into better detectives, capable of compiling airtight cases that result in convictions.
We spoke to COMPOL Williams after the passing out ceremony and he told us that while the department believes that the performance of their investigators has been satisfactory, there is always room for improvement.
Williams noted that most of the participants got 90% on their final exam. The course was facilitated by the United States.
Course participants will now return to serving in their respective jurisdictions - while tow more charts of CIB personell will be following them to the academy to get their training.
