And police have been busy in that area as well - after two murders in two days.

This morning an operation in the Police street/Ordonez street area resulted in the seizure of a loaded 38 pistol and the arrest of 20 year old, Adrian Sanchez.

Tonight, Sanchez is in jail after he pleaded guilty to keeping firearm and ammunition without a gun license.

Magistrate Khadeem Palmer sentenced him to 1 year for one .38 caliber revolver and to 1 year for 5 rounds of ammunition, with the sentences to run concurrently - meaning he will only serve a year. 

Police say they knocked on the front door of his house, heard some shuffling and then saw a hand come out of a window and throw a 38 revolver to the ground. 

Sanchez was detained after he could not produce a license for the revolver.
