And, in other crime news, a man has been charged for the murder of Kajoan Roches - who was killed on Thursday night in Belize City. The 21 year old was killed on Ebony Street as he hung out with friends. Today, police say the target was one of those friends and Kajoan was collateral damage:

"Reference the fatal shooting of Kajoan Tony Roachez, which occurred on Thursday night, on Sunday police arrested and charged Adrian Claud Swasey, 22 years, for that shooting incident. What we understand from what the investigation is showing us is that Mr. Roaches was not the target but it was somebody else who was along with them."

Today in court, 22 year old Swasey, 22, was charged with the murder of Roches when he appeared today before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford. She remanded him until March 30.
