And, police have arrested a man from Caye Caulker for shooting at a police officer last week Thursday.  

It happened on Wednesday when a police on motorbike was pursuing a van that had just been in a robbery.  That;That’s when someone form inside the van fired a shot at the cop, who wasn’t hit, but crashed don his motorbike.  Police told us about their suspect:’

"Reference the aggravated assault report made by constable Woodeye, police arrested and charged Joleel Petillo, 24 years of a Caye Caulker address for the crime of aggravated assault."

"Yes, we believe that they were part of that robbery and we are still looking for two more persons."
