They conducted operations in the area of Drowned Caye on Tuesday 05 February 2020 and discovered four persons in possession of 17 live rounds of unlicensed ammunition.

One of them tried to run off unsuccessfully. The Coast Guard team catched him. Three out of the four persons were fishermen, the other was the watchman. Only two of them were able to provide the Coast Guard team with identification documents. Their fisher folk license was expired and their engine serial number for their vessel differed from the one listed on the seaworthy certificate.
