A Purloined Motorcycle in A Pigpen
posted (February 5, 2020)
A motorcycle in a pig pen led police to the arrest of three suspects in rural Belize.

Norvell Flowers, Kerlin Loy and Marlon Mangar, all of them 23-year-old residents of Flowers Bank, appeared in court today. They were charged with handling stolen goods. On February 4 Ellin Perdomo reported to the police that he was missing his Meilun motorcycle, which he left in his yard in Bermudian Landing. The police found the missing object in a pig pen at Flowers' residence and the investigation lead to the arrest of the defendants.

In court, all defendants pleaded not guilty, so their case was adjourned until March 5. They were each offered a bail of $2,000. Flowers and Loy have met bail but Mangar has to pay the outstanding sum towards a fine before he can do so.
