COBEC Fair For Future Students
posted (February 5, 2020)
Today, high school students from across the country converged at the University of Belize's Conference Center, which is located on their Belmopan Campus. The students were there to attend the 32nd Annual COBEC Conference.

For those who don't know, COBEC is short for the Consortium for Belize Educational Cooperation. It was formed in the 1980s as a means for educational institutions in Belize to build ties with their counterparts in other countries, for the purpose of strengthening and expanding the capabilities of its members in higher-level education.

3 decades later, the consortium is still going strong. This year's conference will take place over 3 days, and today was the first. With the video provided by the University of Belize, we went shopping around today's expo to find out about the different COBEC institutions. Here's what a few of the representatives had to say about the educational opportunities that this year's high school graduates can get access to if they should apply:

The COBEC Conference continues tomorrow and concludes on Friday.
