There was a robbery at La Popular bakery on cemetery Road in Belize City last night. It happened at about 07:30 when two men entered the bakery as if to make a purchase. That's when they approached the Cashier's desk. One of them pulled out a pistol pointing it at the cashier and demanded money, the other handed her a blue bag and told her to fill it with cash. Fearing for her safety she did what they wanted. The men then escaped in a blue taxi that was parked close to the cemetery area.
