Henry Harris Home After Nolle Pros
posted (February 6, 2020)
26-year-old Henry Harris, aka "Alkaline", has been on remand for just over 3 years while awaiting trial for murder. But tonight, he's home free because the DPP's Office had decided to discontinue their prosecution against him.

Harris was charged with murder and attempted murder for the 2017 shooting of the two brothers: 44-year-old Clinton "Hog" Frazer, and 36-year-old Nelson Michael Frazer.

As we reported, on the night of January 22nd, the Frazer brothers were handing out with several friends near the Conch Shell Bay Fish Market. According to police, a vehicle arrived nearby. 2 gunmen then exited and they immediately opened fire on the brothers. Clinton was fatally injured in the back, while his brother, Nelson survived a gunshot injury to the leg.

Court reports are that Nelson Frazer gave police a written statement in which he identified Harris as one of the shooters who targeted him and his brother.

When the case was called up before Justice Colin Williams today, Senior Crown Counsel Shanice Lovell informed the court that the DPP's Office was entering a "nolle pros" against Harris. The reason for this is that Nelson has since indicated to the prosecution that he will not testify against Harris.

And so, the judge informed Harris that he was free to leave. Of note is that the DPP's Office can bring criminal charges against him a second time if they believe that they have found solid evidence against him.

He was represented by attorney Oscar Selgado.
