A press release says that the generating unit, sourced from Panama is, quote, "currently at the port in Santo Tomas, Guatemala, awaiting Customs clearance before transportation by land to the Belize/Guatemala border at Benque Viejo, Cayo. It is expected that the unit will arrive in Belize, by Wednesday, February 12 then taken to the Port of Belize for transshipment by sea to Caye Caulker.

Upon arrival on the island, BEL teams will conduct checks to ensure that the unit functions reliably and consistently, and commission into service. This process will take approximately three days. In preparation for the arrival of the unit on the island, BEL conducted upgrades to the Caye Caulker substation last Friday." End quote.
