There was a shooting on Friday night in Belize City that has landed a 12-year-old boy in the hospital.
He is a resident of the Belama Phase 1 area of the City. He was at the home with his family, and sometime after 11 o'clock that night, 2 gunmen barged in.
The assailants reportedly kicked open their backdoor and opened fire on the family. Here's more from the police:
