So, thanks for that insight Jules. The days ahead are sure to be interesting. And much of the talk will focus on Hugo Patt, the humble and soft spoken representative from Corozal North. Right now, he's looking like the man who would be the UDP's next leader - and, yesterday at his swearing in as Deputy Prime Minister, having a sense of how things were heading, Jules Vasquez asked him if he's ready to lead. We wouldn't say he was chomping at the bit:

"At this point in time I think it's too early for any assumptions. That is your belief Jules, I will respect that but as I indicated, whatever transpires from now to the near future, it is to be determined by what evidence is present."
